Documents needed.

You are requested to submit the following documents for each Aliyah participant:

– Passport valid for at least a year

– Birth Certificate with both parents’ names listed **

– Certificates of marriage, death, divorce if relevant.**

– In case of previous marriages, the marital documents of each marriage are required: marriage, divorce, death, each with apostille.**

– Change of name documents (if relevant).** – Proof of Judaism from your Local Rabbi, on a congregation letterhead. With both parent’s legal names and their affiliation to Judaism.

– Police clearance**. Required from every country you have resided for more than 1 year from the age of 14. Applies to every applicant who will be over 14 at the date of Aliyah. The police check is only valid for 6 months – must be valid at Aliyah.

– You are required to pay a registration fee, the amount and the payment method will be sent in a separate email Additional documents may be requested. ** All legal documents must bear an Apostille.

Apostilles are stamped on original documents, or new copies issued by Population Registry/Home Affairs or other country authorities. The purpose of the apostille is to certify the signature of the public officer signing the document.

There is no need to notarize documents before the apostille legalization.
